Brick’s geography is the deciding factor in almost every flooring decision here. The township runs from the barrier island on its eastern edge across to Barnegat Bay, and its flood exposure is not only from the ocean — Kettle Creek and Beaver Dam Creek reach well into residential streets, and the township has published dedicated flood-reduction planning for its waterfront neighbourhoods.
