Glue-down luxury vinyl tile and VCT for high-traffic retail, healthcare and office floors.
Full wet-set adhesive installation over a properly prepped, moisture-tested slab — the floor covering most facility managers standardize on for durability and low-effort maintenance.
About This Service
LVT and VCT solve different problems. VCT is the lowest-cost, most repairable option for back-of-house and high-volume retail — but it needs a wax-and-strip maintenance cycle to keep its finish. LVT costs more per square foot but generally holds a finish without waxing, which is usually the better call for a lobby, office or space with a limited maintenance budget. We'll size the recommendation to your maintenance plan, not just the install price.
Neither product forgives a bad substrate. Every glue-down job starts with moisture testing and, where needed, self-leveling underlayment — skipping that step is the single biggest cause of adhesive failure and warranty claims on commercial resilient flooring.

LVT & VCT Glue-Down Installation Questions, Answered
VCT is the lower-cost, easiest-to-spot-repair option, but needs periodic waxing and stripping to keep its shine. LVT generally holds up without waxing and reads as a higher-end finish, at a higher material cost. Facility maintenance budget usually decides it.
Yes, to maintain its factory finish and gloss — that maintenance cycle is the trade-off for VCT's lower material and install cost. We'll walk you through the realistic upkeep before you commit to it over LVT.
Sometimes, depending on the existing substrate's condition and flatness — often it needs to come out or be leveled first. Moisture and substrate testing during the bid tells us which applies before we price the job.
