Most flooring manufacturers require documented moisture readings before their warranty applies, and most flooring failures on concrete slabs trace back to skipping that step. We run ASTM F2170 relative humidity (RH) probe testing as standard on commercial slab installs, with calcium chloride testing available where a spec calls for it specifically.
When a slab reads outside the flooring manufacturer's tolerance, we install a moisture mitigation system or self-leveling underlayment rated for the reading — not a guess at "should be fine." Every test comes with written results for your files, your architect, or your flooring manufacturer's warranty documentation.

It depends on the reading: a moderate excess usually calls for a moisture mitigation coating or system rated for that level; a severe reading may need additional slab drying time or a different flooring product. We'll present the real options rather than install over a reading that will void your warranty.
